In addition to the more common methods of treating solar keratoses (precancers) with chemotherapy creams and liquidnitrogen, Scott Sanders Dermatology offers in-office Photodynamic Therapy (PDT).
PDT is non scarring and can be effective when treating an entire area, including those precancers which are not yetclinically apparent. For many patients, there may be a cosmetic benefit to this procedure.
Photodynamic Therapy is approved by most insurances.
